The Locations


With five locations and one dealer Agent located throughout North America, Prospero Equipment has a widespread support team. Our main headquarters is located in Pleasantville, NY just North of New York City. Our second location that recently upgraded to a brand new facility is located in the Finger lakes region in Geneva, NY. This office is set to provide our customers with parts and technical service. The third office in Windsor, CA  supports and services the West Coast and serves as a parts, sales, and technical department all in one. There are also two new locations that have opened up this past year. One in McMinnville, OR to service the Northwest U.S. and one in Montreal, Quebec to service Canada. There is also an authorized Prospero equipment Agent in British Columbia.

THE HISTORY

1948. The company Talleres Urpinas S.A. is founded in Sant Vicenç dels Horts, at the initiative of Mr. Joaquin Urpinas after gaining high professional experience by working in different mechanical companies from 1936 to 1948.
1949. The company starts working in the field of “Methode Champenoise” designing projects of special machines. The serice of maintenance is launched.
1955. The firm moves to its new facilities in Sant Vicenç dels Horts.
1982. Joaquin Urpinas, son of the founder, and his wife take charge of the company.
1987. The firm moves to the industrial polygon of Sant Vicenç dels Horts.
1995. Urpinas develops and manufactures the first machines for the emptying, liquor dispensing and filling of bottles according to “Methode Champenoise”.
2001. The Company designs and builds disgorging machines.
2002. Thinking about its evolution and future, the company starts to develop its quality policy with the goal to be certificated by ISO 9001 standards.
2003. Urpinas obtains the ISO 9001:2000 standards.
2004. Urpinas acquires the rights to manufacture “Sabat” neck freezing machines.
2005. Urpinas designs and elaborates a new compact machine for the whole process of méthode Champenoise.
2007 Facilities are being increased by 500m² for the administration, commercial and design departments.
2008 The newly R&D and innovation management system is made based on the UNE 166.002 standards. Urpinas celebrates its 60th anniversary.

Fillers, blocks, triblock, and quadriblocchi uniblocchi, simple to use but technologically perfect, they are designed by our technical staff to meet the everyday demands of the market. Our product range can be divided into 3 categories: Gold Series which includes the isobaric fillers able to bottle carbonated products in glass bottles and plastic; Silver series for gravity filling machines able to bottle flat products, free of CO², glass bottles and plastic; Diamond series for the isobaric filling machines, able to bottle carbonated products in aluminum cans. The company also carries out technical assistance for isobaric fillers and gravity, rinsing and capping; service turnkey line.

THE HISTORY

Enos was born in 1976 in Canelli intuition Armando Canary seed, technical designer has always been fond of mechanics, which translates and realizes the dream of many small vintners: label independently, engaging small spaces, small and medium production of bottles.

From this guiding concept, which becomes corporate creed, ENOS draws prestige and credibility, precisely because it is sensitive to the changing needs that each manufacturer must meet. 

ENOS manufactures labeling machines with glue and adhesive target of small and medium-sized wineries: 9,000 specimens, found in wineries around the world, highlight the history of a company is always careful to pick up the signals of the market, when the customer is present in difficulty in efficient operations and after-sales service.

The range offers ENOS labeling adhesive for label, back-back label, vintage bottles on both round and square. Machines complete plant for the closure of the capsules and capsule dispenser with cork detector. Reliable and robust, the labeling ENOS were born to work hard for years and years, built in stainless steel AISI 304 and all CE standards.

ENOLTA MAPAN

 

THE HISTORY

Since 1978 Enolta Mapan has been making machines for the wine and oil sector.
It started out working in Brescia in via Bettole and already back in the 1990s it had to move to a larger location, where it currently resides in Borgosatollo, at the gates of the city. Therefore the company was founded and manufactures in the Brescian territory, a land of great wine cultivating traditions, as proven by the celebrated wines of Franciacorta and the wines and oils of the Lake Garda area, for example. It is also an area of great technological traditions, with universally renowned brands.

Enolta Mapan, specialised in the designing and building of corking and caging machines, offers a range of semi-automatic and automatic wine machines, designed to meet the needs of small and medium size companies.
Our professional corking machines are exported all over the world and our clientele knows it can rely on our skills and the quality of our products. We recently completed the range by introducing the manual corking machine, so we could also meet the needs of private producers.

Our machines were designed to cork bottles of every kind, with stoppers in cork, synthetic (also called plastic stoppers) and agglomerate. Our range of corking machines also include the TS 3 "Campagnola" corking machine and the GIS 4 Hydraulic caging machine for sparkling wine stoppers (or mushroom stoppers). Production volumes go from 800 corks per hour with the model Micra and up to 1800 corks per hour with the Automatic corking machine.

All models of the Enolta Mapan corking and caging machines allow you to work safely. The experience Enolta Mapan technicians have gained working with the artisan production of every single machine makes it possible for the company to offer a product that is well-finished in every detail, and which guarantees reliability, precision, durability and compliance to current European safety regulations.
