ODB’s concrete egg tanks are proudly handcrafted in France, using spring water, clay-based cement, Loire sand and Burgundy gravel.  ODB’s egg design is inspired by the Golden Ratio.  Their unique egg design contributes to the micro-oxygenation of wines.  ODB’s concrete egg tanks enable a current to be created, providing constant movement or circulation of the lees.  Concrete is a natural insulator and stabilizes the temperature of what it’s holding.  The natural concrete is microporous, allowing it to breathe and helps to absorb thermal shock.    They have a range of features and accessories to choose from including exterior designs.
