The L Series PSP 55 is an open pressing system with a half perforated drum surface, constructed from AISI 304 Stainless steel. The other half of the drum is solid Stainless steel with a pneumatic inflated membrane inside. A built in compressor and vacuum pump are used for inflation and deflation of the membrane. Presses incorporate programmable pressing cycles designed for whole clusters of grapes, fresh lees, fermented lees and ice pressings. The perforated half drum is electropolished which enables easy cleaning, reduced water consumption and increased corrosion resistance.
