GAI 3621 FE CAN – Automatic Monoblock composed of Stainless steel
up to 3,600 cans per hour

Suitable for canning products from 0 to 4 Bar working pressure.
The 3621 FE CAN monoblock features a high pressure, electro-pneumatic, volumetric can filler on a 10 valve rotary turret.
This monoblock includes a trivolver single-head seamer with the ability to use 3 different lid sizes.
The ability to have nitrogen injection for canning still products, available upon request.

10 electro-pneumatic valves, with annular filler bowl, for aluminum cans (primitive diameter: 600 mm).

Each filling valve includes:
– magnetic-inductive flow meter to check the filling volume;
– pressure transducer to monitor the pressure in the can (the valve does not fill if the bottle does not reach the tank pressure);
– electro-pneumatic valve for the injection of gas for the flushing and pressurization of the cans;
– electro-pneumatic valve for flushing gas discharge.;
– electro-pneumatic valve for gas discharge during the filling phase.;
– electro-pneumatic valve for the degassing phase;
– double-acting electro-pneumatic cylinder to open / close the liquid circuit.
The volumetric filling valve avoids any return of the product into the tank, avoiding any possible contamination and oxidation of the product inside the tank.

The filling volume, based on the container dimension, can be set through the control panel and it does not require any manual intervention.
Each filling valve has a dummy can for the machine cleaning process. Dummy cans are installed on board of the filler turret, with manual positioning. Washing product discharge is centralized at the bottle of the dummy can. All monoblock circuits have automatic valves which make the filler fully predisposed to work with a CIP unit. The filling valve can operate with a pressure up to 4 bar. The filler has an analogical level sensor suitable to manage feeding pump with inverter (the pump is not included in the price list). The gas pressure in all circuits is automatically controlled by the PLC. The filler is equipped with a spray system for filling valve external washing. Pneumatic cans lifting pedestals with cam return and automatic lubrication. Filler height electric adjustment. The filling valve is under patent.

[2] Trivolver Single-Head Seamer.
The seamer is designed to work up to a maximum of 3 types of lids. Switching from one type of lid to another is achieved by simply rotating the turret. The distribution of the lid is “self-engaging system” on the output star of the filler.
The distribution duct is equipped with a “bubble breaker” gas circuit and a gas injection circuit under the lid during the tearing phase to reduce the amount of oxygen present in the can.
The flashing star carries the can on the lifting plate where it is raised and brought into contact with the rotating spindle; while it is rotating, the rolls of 1 and 2 operations perform the seaming.
All the operations of the seamer are carried out by means of mechanical cams.
